Bringing American performing artists to Africa for a cultural exchange experience. The tour allows American artists to gain a better understanding of African rooted art forms, through collaborations with native African producers, artists, and community outreach professionals.

Bringing African performing artist to America for a cultural exchange experience. The tour allows African artist to gain a better understanding of American rooted art forms, through collaborations in partnering locations in the United States. For 2024, African artists will have a cultural music exchange in San Francisco, California.

U.S. to Africa Budget

International funding initiatives for Black to Africa’s cultural exchange experience are made possible with our fiscal sponsorships. Funding goes directly towards artist travel expenses and accommodations from the United States to Africa.

2022 Expenses:
Trip to Nairobi, Kenya was funded by crowd sourced fundraising. Black to Africa was established December 2022, engaging with funding initiatives through a Go Fund Me campaign.

2023 Expenses:

Trip to Lagos, Nigeria was funded through partnering sponsors. $22,600.00 was raised, surpassing the $5,000.00 funding target.
